As a
Manager, Sourcing , your expertise, vision, and strategy will allow you to create businesses in the
Seasonal
departments at Walmart. You will have the opportunity to develop complex sourcing strategies for existing products while also working with Product Developers to create innovative products.
What you'll do:
Build and manage comprehensive Private Brand sourcing strategy and supplier matrix to optimize GMV, profit and market share by supporting Every Day Low Prices strategy.
Communicate with retail teams to align, arrange buy trips, and manage critical issues during the order execution process.
Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to ensure a smooth product development process from ideation to final production.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships, including account management and project management.
Collaborate cross-functionally with various business partners and suppliers to understand business needs and develop optimal solutions.
Demonstrate awareness of global trade developments for assigned geographies and incorporate into sourcing proposals.
Manage the oversight of sourcing and operational issues regarding costing and quality.
Lead identified sourcing opportunities to ensure suppliers capability.
Guide partners and suppliers to ensure product quality, delivery and price goals.
Drive RFP/RFI/RFQ, negotiate price and develop alternatives to achieve sourcing objectives.
Partner with Merchandise Quality Engineers on problems related to quality.
Evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
Lead sourcing initiatives/projects with cross-functional partners.
Support broader Seasonal teams on sourcing initiatives in the North America region.

Global experience in Sourcing, Merchandising or Procurement.
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
3+ years’ experience in retail, manufacturing, or sourcing industry.
5+ years’ experience in retail or major brand, or importer/agent serving major retail customers.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Minimum Qualifications...
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain or related area.
3 years’ experience in sourcing.
Bilingual in English and one or more language used to transact business in assigned country.
Project Management certification.
Preferred Qualifications...
Experience in retail, manufacturing, or sourcing.
Experience working for a retailer, or major brand, importer/agent serving a major retail customer.
