Senior SCADA Engineer

The Senior Information and Operational Technology Engineer will support the SCADA Package in all networking, security system integration and communications aspects related to the offshore Windfarm. The candidate will be supporting and leading engineering activities and decisions with multiple internal and external stakeholders.Job Responsibilities:Provide key advice on Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) Networks, Cybersecurity and communications engineering, assessment and recommendations to ensure delivery of the SCADA package within time, to budget and quality following industry best practice and observing the maximum respect for Health, Safety and the Environment to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.Provide expert advice to the SCADA Manager relating to OT and IT Networks, Telephony, Wide Area Networks and Local Area Networks.Ensure that cyber assets, controls and designs are aligned with best practices and are in full compliance with corporate and NERC CIP cyber security policies and procedures.Interfacing with 3rd parties for the purpose of integrating 3rd party vendor infrastructure and control systems into the employers' IT and OT networks.Qualifications:Substantial experience designing IT and OT Networks for power generating stations, preferably in the offshore industry.Experience with NERC CIP standards and compliance for cybersecurity.Familiarity with TSO Transmission System Operator (TSO) communication interfaces would be an asset.Experience of coordinating with Contractors and Operation Centres involved in the delivery of OT/IT projects in international environments.
