This position develops and executes software test plans in order to identify problems and their causes. This position is responsible for testing, as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems, and applies process improvement methods by effectively organizing and utilizing organizational assets and the application of best practices.Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.Document software defects, using a defect tracking system, and report defects to developers.Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, or content.Develop testing scripts that address areas such as database impacts, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.Monitor defect resolution efforts and track successes.Provide feedback and recommendations to developers.Update test scripts to ensure currency.Monitor program performance to ensure efficient and problem-free operations.Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.Investigate customer problems.Coordinate user or third-party testing.Report out on QA activities.Organizational Responsibilities

Minimum 3 years’ experience as Software Quality Engineer, including:Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and others.Experience with coding.Experience with web security technology.Experience with software QA tools and processes.Experience working on an Agile team.Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Management.Experience as a Software Quality Engineer in Healthcare.Experience with Test Organization.Experience with Automation tools.Experience with Regression Testing.Experience with Validation Testing.Experience working with Offshore teams.Experience with SQL SSMS.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
