We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst II to join our Expense Management team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is hybrid. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.How You’ll Help Move Us Forward

Prepare annual budget of operating expenses for Consumer Markets Division (CMD).

Cross-departmental coordination between budget stakeholders, payroll, financial systems team, financial controls team, human resources, and other divisions.Report monthly, quarterly and annual expense performance vs plan.Prepare reports for key stakeholders of annual expense budget, budget targets, expense drivers and expense trends.Work proactively with key stakeholders to capture all planned expenses within the planning system.Review and analyze Corporate allocations.

Identify emerging trends through analytics associated with expense drivers and other key metrics.

Gather data and analyze trends and relationships with expense drivers.Develop key performance indicators, set benchmarks and generate a forecast and expense goals.

Month End Close

Provide quarterly reporting to FP&A and Enterprise Finance team.Work with key stakeholders to estimate accruals needed at year-end.Act as central contact for the Enterprise Accounting team.Record monthly journal entries for capitalization and reclassifications.Advocate and champion continuous improvement within the functional area as well as throughout the organization.

The Experience You Bring

7+ years relevant experience.3+ years experience as a Business Partner to Operations in a cross-functional decision support role within finance.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics considered with equivalent work experience in Accounting. CPA preferred.High attention to detail, accountability, and responsiveness to requests.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to connect the dots and see downstream impact on decisions and actions made upstream.Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving and results.What Makes You Stand Out

Experience with Essbase, Hyperion Planning, PeopleSoft, and/or similar systems.Experience with expense allocation methodologies and Activity Based Costing a plus.Experience with Alteryx, dashboarding and visualization tools a plus.You Can Be Who You Are.

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
