They will be leading and coaching a team of marketing representatives, and helping the team improve performance. This role is responsible for driving non-media lead generation and brand awareness locally through in-person experiential marketing.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new team members.In-field coaching.Manages department calendar - includes negotiating with event sponsors and outside vendors to procure space for events.Oversees participation in events, sponsorship, retail partnerships and creation of lead-gen opportunities.Expense and P&L management of Events & Showroom; controls spend within budget.Collaborates with internal partners such as Sales, Inside Sales, Talent Acquisition, HR & Finance.Communicates results and strategy with management.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities.3-5 years' experience in sales/marketing, planning events and/or managing sales/retail teams.Strong leadership skills.Ability to think strategically, with strong project management skills, including attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to self-manage resources (time & budget) to achieve objectives.Ability to analyze effectiveness of events, sponsorships, and local programs.Ability to understand role of marketing communications, sales promotion, and advertising.Demonstrated ability with MS Office suite.CULTURE AND BENEFITS :"Be Orange.
