El Camino Health Medical Network, a leading/growing physician organization and an affiliate of El Camino Health, is a California Medical Foundation and currently operates 19 community-based ambulatory care clinics and medical practices in Los Gatos, San Jose, Cupertino, and Mountain View. About the Position:
The Vice President of Clinic Operations will oversee the strategic and operational leadership for a multi-site ambulatory care and physician practice group. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient management of clinic operations, enhancing patient care services, and driving the growth and profitability of the practice group. The Vice President will work closely with senior leadership, physicians, and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care across all sites.The ideal candidate is an accomplished and strategic leader with extensive experience in managing multi-site ambulatory care and physician practice groups. They possess strong strategic acumen and a deep understanding of healthcare operations, enabling them to oversee efficient clinic management and the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care across all sites.
Duties & Responsibilities:
In collaboration with senior leadership, refine and execute the overall strategy of the medical groups and strengthen/align the business and clinical objectives across the continuum.Collaborate with leaders across El Camino Health to align operational systems and processes.Maintain high employee engagement and positive relationships with employees and management staff.Maintain positive relationships and a culture of trust between administration and providers.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.Operate ambulatory clinics to ensure financial strength, reviewing results on an ongoing basis.Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.MHA or MBA is highly desirable.A minimum of 10 years’ experience in progressive leadership roles in a multi-specialty group practice.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge and experience with Lean/Six Sigma in a physician practice setting.Demonstrated leadership accomplishments in improving financial and operational performance.Strong business acumen and metrics orientation.Financial management and business development experience.Experience with IT systems, electronic health records (EHR), and computerized physician order entry (CPOE) systems.Salary range:
