Join El Camino Health in sunny Mountain View, California as they seek an experienced professional for the role of Vice President, Operations.Permanent | OnsiteThe PositionThe Vice President of Operations will oversee the administration and operations of ancillary services and service lines at El Camino Health. This includes pharmacy, imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation services, as well as service lines in Mental Health, Cancer, Heart and Vascular, Neuro/Ortho/Spine/Robotics, and Women’s Health.This position will report to the Chief Operations Officer and oversee approximately eight direct reports.This leader’s responsibilities include upholding Quality and Safety standards by analyzing external benchmarking metrics to enhance the quality of care. Additionally, they will prioritize fostering a positive organizational culture, ensuring staff engagement, and providing opportunities for mentorship and professional development. Lastly, they will focus on financial stewardship, identifying strategies to enhance cost-effectiveness.The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, strategic leader with a strong executive presence and ability to help grow the hospital system. Candidates must be capable of working independently and be creative problem solvers.RequirementsBachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree highly preferred.A minimum of seven years of management experience in a healthcare setting is required.
