Job Description:

As Senior Engineer, you will work on one of the world's largest marketplaces, dealing with one billion events per day and contribute as part of an R&D self-organized team working in a challenging, innovative environment for our client! Initiates and conducts code reviews, creates code standards, conventions and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Obtains tasks from TL, prepares functional and design specifications and gets them approved.Ensures that assigned area/areas are delivered within set timelines and required quality objectives.Leads functional and architectural design of assigned areas. Makes sure design decisions on the project meet architectural and design requirements.Collaborates with other teams and project stakeholders.Provides training for other team members on general product architecture.Required Skills:

Extensive application development experience including Java, Ruby on Rails and Messaging Systems.Should be experienced in debugging the issues and able to write effective unit tests with strong OOP skills.Exposure to Service Oriented Architecture.Good to have:

Working experience on Distributed Messaging Systems and Event Driven Development along with SQL.
