We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead all business matters, including portfolio strategy and product development, to one of Danco’s strategic growth categories. This role will report to the Senior Director of Product Management, and will interact with all levels of the company including C-Suite leadership. For starters, though, here are some day-to-day examples of what you will be doing:Own the performance of the product P&L for assigned categories by working cross functionally to stay informed and influence changes that allow the company to meet financial goals.Develop and execute a category and product strategy that includes a multi-year new product development (NPD) roadmap and product lifecycle management discipline. Be the product expert; providing technical expertise, training and product knowledge to all areas of the organization in support of category growth objectives.Lead NPD and other product-related projects from concept to launch by guiding the cross-functional team through a stage-gate process.Be an unrelenting advocate for quality, accountability and continuous improvement by leveraging critical-thinking, problem solving and communication skills.Maintain customer focus by conducting qualitative research and performing quantitative data analysis to inform category/product strategy and support commercial activities.Partner with Sales, Engineering, Sourcing and Marketing teams to support various customer, product and branding initiatives.Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that will ensure successful product introductions and customer relationships.Partner with Sales, Operations & Planning teams to support demand forecasting process and optimize inventory management practices.The ideal candidate will exhibit the following:You’re a curious thinker, with a passion for innovation and data-driven decisions.You have an insatiable appetite for continuous improvement and adaptability in an entrepreneurial environment.You’re a thought leader with an exceptional ability to tell stories and inspire people to action.You’re an agent of change, ready to lead a team through new and rewarding challenges.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.6-10 years of product management experience including P&L ownership. Consumer chemicals or other CPG product experience preferred.Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills are imperative.
