As a Structural Engineer at Pro-Cal Design, you will play a key role in designing and overseeing structural projects, with a focus on multi-family developments. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, values independence, and is passionate about delivering outstanding results.Key Responsibilities:Structural Design:
Create and develop structural designs for multi-family projects, ensuring they meet all safety and regulatory standards.Project Management:
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.Collaboration:
Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.Technical Analysis:
Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations to ensure the stability and integrity of structures.Documentation:
Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and reports.Site Inspections:
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.Compliance:
Ensure all structural designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.Innovation:
Integrate sustainable and innovative engineering solutions into projects to meet environmental standards and client expectations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.EIT or PE license required.Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on multi-family projects.Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, etc.).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Bonus Points:Experience with sustainable design practices.Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.Previous experience with Procore or similar project management tools.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Compensation:
$80,000 + Bonuses
