Job Summary

This Senior Data Engineer role within Applied Digital Technology in ConocoPhillips will be responsible for building data and machine learning model pipelines from source systems into the analytics environment with validation to allow creation and operations of machine learning models and pipelines. The role will also monitor, optimize, and support the development, test and production environments working closely with the database administrators, system architects, and IT infrastructure support to ensure system availability. This role requires a strong and current technology focus, practical analytical experience, and excellent written and communications skills.If you are selected as the Data Engineer, you will need to be proficient at integrating and preparing large, varied datasets including time series data and designing specialized database tables within the environment. You will work closely with engineers, data scientists, geo-scientists, project/program managers, and IT teams to provide clean and reliable data.Your responsibilities may include:

Develop, test, and manage data pipelinesCollect, explore, validate, and condition dataCollaborate with business subject matter experts and data scientists to create data sets and engineer features for analytical modelsProductionize and operationalize analytical modelsAdhere to ConocoPhillips’ governance and compliance policies for data and processesMonitor model performanceBasic/Required:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employerBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems/Science, Mathematics, Statistics, other related business field, other related technical field, or foreign equivalent10+ years of IT or programming experience5+ years of experience in a programming language3 + years of experience with data visualization/analytics tools and Excel3 + years of experience with SQL3+ years of experience with handling large amount of operational data and/or creating ETL/ELT pipelines3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and source control1+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates)Preferred:
