This position oversees the supply chain operation, including inventory management, logistics planning, and yard operations strategy. They are responsible for ensuring the supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the business's objectives. This role involves strategic planning, optimizing processes, and leading teams to achieve business goals and customer satisfaction. This position will provide leadership and direction on a cross-functional basis.

Responsibilities:

Direct the activities of all functions involved in overall inventory performance, yard operations, inventory evaluations, and control of materials from the receipt to finished goods replenishment needs to the delivery of the finished product into finished goods inventory and delivery of products to customer(s).Manage inventory and establish controls to ensure the organization is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize the value of the entire function in creating a world-class materials management group.Experience in current technology and tools and the vision to strategically plan and implement automated solutions and reduce manual processes.Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.Lead and coach others in maintaining excellence, quality control, and safety.Develop and continuously improve supplier programs.Report out on and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain operations.Lead the demand planning and forecasting processes to align production with customer demand.Drive the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to enhance coordination between sales, production, and inventory management.Participate in existing and new product planning processes to assure timely acquisition of materials to support product launches.Participate in the design and implementation of new ERP system and optimize its use.Lead negotiation efforts for major contracts.Develop and manage departmental budgets accordingly.Establish annual goals and objectives (including stretch targets) in coordination with corporate objectives and manage performance to ensure attainment.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, with a focus on operational and project management in industrial manufacturing.Proficiency in logistics software and technology, including ERP systems and data analytics tools.Proven track record of successfully managing complex logistics projects and delivering results on time and within budget.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Strong technical skills with Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.Knowledge of logistics operations, sourcing, and best practices.
