Software Engineer
to join an exciting mission-oriented program. The role is located onsite in Herndon, VA and requires a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
This role is focused on the implementation process and IT operations with emphasis on issues and resolutions, including integration of computer systems and networks. The Software Engineer will support the organization's essential objectives. The precise role and accountability of the Software Engineer may change from task to task based on the scope and complexity of the assignment and different phases of a systems life cycle.
Required Qualifications
2+ years' experience participating in agile activities.3+ years of recent Java or Python experience.Experience with Bash Scripting.Ability to assist with build out of CI/CD process for development to production environments.Research new technologies in object-oriented programming.Experience in Cloud based services.Works well in an engineering team environment with teammates of varied skill levels.US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Docker, Vagrant, etc.Experience with build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc.Experience with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc.Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Shell, etc.
