Audit Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Audit Manager to manage audit engagements, deliver high quality services to our clients and help develop other members of the firm. The position offers excellent opportunities for leadership and career advancement.Job description:Review audit engagements for clients in various industriesIdentify key audit risk areas and design the overall audit approachSupervise audit engagements and keep partner informed of engagement statusResearch technical guidance and provide potential conclusions to partnersProactively interact with, and update, clients and partners to ensure timely issuance of financial statementsBuild strong working relationships with clientsManage staff performance, conduct timely performance reviews, and provide performance feedbackContribute to in-house educational initiativesParticipate in prospect meetings and other marketing activitiesQualified candidates will possess the following:CPA certificationOver 8 years recent experience in public accounting with a national, large regional or technically proficient local firmSignificant supervisory experience (5+ years)Proven experience in meeting strict deadlines within budgetary constraintsProficient in performing financial statement audits of clients in various industriesAbility to build and maintain meaningful relationships with clientsStrong computer skills; knowledge of ProSystem Engagement a plusHighly detailed, organized and proactiveStrong analytical and report writing skillsAbility to work in a team and play a role in the firm’s growthOur benefits include:Competitive salaryHealth, dental, life, long-term disability insurance401(k) planNew business and employee referral bonusesProfessional duesContinuing educationFree parkingAnnual base pay: $90,000 - $150,000 plus bonus
