Audit Senior - Audit Supervisor
Responsibilities: We are looking for a bright and motivated audit senior and/or audit supervisor to join our team. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on audits and reviews of companies and employee benefit plans of various sizes and industries. Most of the work is local. You’ll work with a team of people that care about your professional development and work-life balance. As an audit senior/supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
Running attest engagements from beginning to end under the supervision of partners (planning, budgeting, fieldwork, reporting). Supervising staff (delegating tasks, on-the-job training, reviewing work, providing feedback, assessing performance). Managing multiple engagements and contributing to team environment. Communicating and building relationships with clients. Researching accounting and auditing matters.
Qualifications/Requirements: As a result of significant difficulties with current immigration laws, we are only accepting domestic applicants at this time. Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience in attest. Experience with in-charging audit engagements. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and GAAS. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Energetic work ethic and desire/ability to learn. Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate. Capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Adept with Excel and Word. Bachelor’s (or advanced) degree in accounting. Have or are working toward CPA certification. Experience with ProSystem fx Engagement and PPC a plus. Experience with IDEA or other data analytics software a plus.
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and ability.
