As the Senior Software Engineer (Mobile SDK) - you'll report to Mehul Mittal - our Head of Mobile Engineering (SDK) and spearhead the technical vision and strategy for the SDK organization. Your role involves shaping the technical direction for our mobile SDK, supporting the growth of our core business, and venturing into new product domains. You'll focus on developing core features that boost retention, engagement, and monetization metrics for our most valuable customers. Your main responsibility is to build and deliver a cutting-edge real-time SDK offered to developers by Skillz.Minimum Requirements:
4+ years of Software engineering experience.Experience in "React Native" mobile development.Proficiency in mobile development for Android and iOS, including maintenance and review, using at least two languages from this list: React Native (JavaScript, TypeScript), Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift.Able to work in-office 5 days a week in San Mateo or Las Vegas (relocation assistance available for brand new Vegas HQ).Experience in the Gaming Industry (ideally). Alternatively - experience with Unity and a passion for building services for games.Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, such as product and design. Proven track record of building and delivering consumer-facing products and features from scratch.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technical field of study, or equivalent industry experience.Compensation:
