We are looking for a dynamic leader and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of our Mainstreet Card business, which includes both Core Mainstreet as well as New to Credit. The Mainstreet business 1) is a material contributor to our Card and Capital One P&L and 2) is front and center in our commitment to both provide access to credit across the entire consumer credit spectrum and help customers use credit wisely.This individual will have three direct reports and lead a team of 11 financial analysts, ranging in level from junior analyst through Director. This individual will work directly with the Mainstreet Card Leadership Team, the Card Finance Leadership Team, and key senior leaders across Finance disciplines including Controllers, Corporate Planning, Balance Sheet & Capital Planning and Investor Relations.A successful candidate will be able to:

Actively shape and contribute to our team and broader FP&A and Finance cultureRecruit and develop high performing talentBe a strategic thought partner and advisor with senior business leadersGenerate ongoing analytical insights into business performance, the P&L and the consumerDevelop and deliver insightful and influential senior management presentationsSupport and influence senior business leaders including members of the Executive Committee (EC)Balance analytics and judgment, think beyond Card and influence Corporate decision makingChallenge the status-quo and create well-managed sustainable processesBasic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 12 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)At least 6 years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functionAt least 5 years of people management experiencePreferred Qualifications:

Experience working in or partnering with the Card businessMaster's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's Degree in Finance14+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)10+ years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function10+ years of people management experience including both direct & indirect reportsAbility to build and manage robust financial models within modern infrastructureChartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licenseAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.Capital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.
