Our goal is for the Mojang Studios team to be as diverse as our community.We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager - Minecraft Web with a technical background to lead the expansion of web experiences across our Minecraft.net websites. The role will define the product vision, roadmap and drive execution for the beats and franchise experiences illustrated through Minecraft.net. Minecraft.net strives to make content easily discoverable, welcomes everyone, amplifies the franchise pulse and serves as the connection for end-to-end experiences outside our games. A premium web experience enables delightful and Minecrafty content for our community across our game titles, products and services. This role also requires a close connection with broader studios’ production process and is highly visible within the organization.The candidate has worked with teams of engineers, designers, and authors to create high quality web experiences. They love bringing definition to complex technology projects and are proficient at navigating ambiguous spaces. They have significant experience in cross-team collaboration, communication, and influencing impact. Their technical expertise and attention to detail enables them to identify risks, drive development with predictability, and challenge how we work to continuously improve. Build out the product vision for Minecraft Web and establish a defined roadmap to drive engineering execution for the beats and franchise experiences.Drive definition and alignment on engineering team's priorities and scheduling, facilitating team planning and prioritization, drive execution of development roadmap and lead feature definition and scoping.Ensure teams understand goals and manage delivery through all phases of development. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the organization: engineering, design, player support, data analysis, marketing, and release management.Partner with the engineering teams to contribute, prioritize, and deliver on the roadmap for multiple feature areas (e.g., product, service). Understands the value proposition for the multiple feature areas and answers technical questions on the multiple feature areas they own.Drive development of product vision, including determining market fit, business plan, technical plan, dependency management, marketing and operations.Defines the program(s) goals and prioritization for the multiple feature areas (e.g., product, service) they own. Translates the needs of the organization and other teams into program goals and prioritized deliverables based on data-focused analysis. Engages in active risk management (proactive and reactive) to identify risks and propose mitigations for risks using data (e.g., telemetry, usage, net satisfaction, customer satisfaction).Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management OR software development OR equivalent experience.Product owner experience delivering solutions for web.Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management OR software development OR equivalent experience.Gaming experience and a technical background working with engineering teams.Compensation

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
