This role is working onsite and can be based at our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL (near O’Hare). Alternative work locations will not be considered.

In this role you will serve as a knowledge expert within the Information Technology Organization:Responsible for the design, implementation and improvement of the SAP ECC and S4 Hana systems related to Engineering Interfaces, Engineering Change Management, Variant Configuration (Master data), Classification and P2P integration for our global business units.Develop strong partnerships with business leadership and functional teams to ensure open communication and alignment on ongoing initiatives and understanding of business requirements and impacts.Trusted partner of the EBPO team to deliver business transformation Project Monarch with SAP S/4 Hana platform for Design to Operation (DTO) as well as interfaces to Plan to Deliver (P2D).Discuss and implement process improvements individually or with the AMS team that are consistent with business strategy.Evaluate current state applications environment and drive initiatives to improve and deliver optimized solutions leveraging AMS resources when possible.Build and maintain strong working relationships with IT peers, AMS, cross-functional team members, internal customers, and external contacts such as suppliers & customers.Assign, design, configure, develop and document system change requests per departmental systems life cycle and audit guidelines.Develop detailed project tasks to support assigned projects, participate/lead configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation processes.Key Job Responsibilities

Business Process knowledge

Lead D2O business process discussions for complex projects.Effectively communicate and work within a global team to coordinate and complete assignments.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into detailed specifications.Analyze existing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

SAP implementation and configuration

Hands-on Engineering Change Management, PLM Interfaces, Variant Configuration experience within ECC and S/4.Ensure Engineering requirements for various MTO, ETO, CTO and Engineering interfaces are translated into detailed functional specifications.Expert knowledge in sales and logistics processes.

Project activities

Develop and oversee project plans, resource and capacity planning, testing, deployment, and documentation processes.Work directly with AMS staff to ensure project/support deliveries.Provide training to key and end users.Lead data extraction/cleanup and load activities to ensure good data initially introduced to SAP.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, IT/Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.6+ years of progressive experience including Configuring, testing and supporting SAP.Expert in Engineering Change Management including interfaces, Materials, BOMs, VC and classification.Knowledge of software application architecture and SAP architecture basics.Previous project management experience and ability to manage multiple small projects.Strong interpersonal skills.Organizational and Leadership Skills.Additional Information
