Currently, we have an opportunity for a Trading Data and Analytics Product Owner (PO) for Products and Feedstocks Trading to be part of our Fusion and Systems team within Global Trading Enablement. The role will work closely with our new Global Trading Organization, Trading Analytics, and Trading teams, leading the development of new products and enhancements of existing ones. The PO is a liaison between the business customers and delivery teams, responsible for the product roadmap and backlog of developments, considered a 50/50 split between technical and business skills.What you will do

Single point of contact for the business regarding Trading Data and Analytics needsLiaises between the Global Trading organization (customers) and IT delivery teamEnables efficient consumption of data through analytics data models and applicationsLeverages analytical and business intelligence skills to translate business requirements into data models / visualizations / Features and User Stories (including detailed acceptance criteria, priority, and description) for effective insight generation and enablement of business processesAnalyzes business processes and identifies / implements improvement opportunitiesAssesses if data set is fit-for-use; validates data integrity for modeling and user story developmentPlans and prioritizes work intake through SAFe Agile methodology, in accordance with business priorities, value, and cost of delay, flexible to adapt to constant changes and requirementsLeads user acceptance testing and trainingSCOPE (Impacts, success measures/metrics, position in Value Chain)Manages Features and User stories’ life cycleFacilitates Power User Network(s); monitors tools usage and develops and maintains visualizationsOwns analytics requirements on behalf of the business and captures benefits for each productDefines Program Increment (PI) plans through Agile methodology, jointly with other POs and Product ManagerAbout you

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or EngineeringMinimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment/multinational companyBusiness process expertise and analysis: Integrates business knowledge / judgment with data mining and analytics to support the generation of accurate and relevant business insights; experience in energy/commodity trading and familiarity with commodity trading analytics use casesProject Management: Applies project management skills and principles to work activities to support initiatives and projectsProcess Management: Applies continuous improvement processes to develop, implement and sustain analytics platforms via use of CI tools and leveraging analytics technologies (Snowflake, Python, SQL, Dataiku, Databricks, Azure, etc.)Systems and Tools: Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and hands-on experience with visualization tools (Power BI)Interpersonal Skills:Active listening, strong communication & interpersonal skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with internal & external customers and work with a multi-cultural global teamInnovative and analytical thinkingDecision maker (including ability to say “No”), strong drive and desire to lead changeAbility to manage workload under time pressure and changing prioritiesPreferred Qualifications/ExperienceExperience in operating and/or supporting robust and scalable big data platformsExperience in Trading, Oil & GasGlobal and regional energy markets’ knowledgePractical working experience in utilizing and operating cloud services (preferably Azure); Snowflake, Python, SQL, Dataiku, Databricks, Machine Learning, etc.ExxonMobil is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
