Country Archer Provisions (Country Archer or Company) is looking for an experienced and high-performing Food Safety & Quality Assurance Supervisor, who reports to and assists the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager to supervise the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Lead and Technicians (QA Team) to ensure completion of all required Food Safety & Quality Assurance functions, to develop, implement, maintain and improve the Food Safety & Quality Assurance programs to ensure regulatory compliance and consistency on producing safe & high-quality products that conform to the regulatory, 3rd party certification, company and customer standards. The Food Safety & Quality Assurance Supervisor will help to foster a strong Food Safety & Quality Culture in which all external and internal stakeholders become actively engaged in understanding and guaranteeing safe & high-quality raw materials and finished products.Responsibilities:

Assist the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to:Supervise and evaluate the QA Team.Recruit, train, coach, and mentor the QA Team.Develop and implement plans to support Food Safety & Quality Assurance objectives.Ensure audits, inspections, testing, monitoring, verification, validation, and pre-shipment documentation are executed timely and properly.Maintain Food Safety & Quality Assurance programs, including HACCP Plans and supplier standards.Implement and maintain 3rd party certifications (SQF, Organic, Gluten Free).Execute R&D and innovation projects.Ensure labeling and claims comply with regulations and customer requirements.Resolve food safety and quality issues using RCA, CAPA, and CI tools.Oversee regulatory, 3rd party, customer, and company audits and address findings.Provide plant-wide Food Safety & Quality Assurance training (GMP, HACCP, Allergen Management, etc.).Develop and communicate Food Safety & Quality Assurance KPI’s.Drive and co-facilitate Food Safety & Quality Assurance continuous improvement efforts.Act as the “floor general” to ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations.Participate in special projects and assignments as specified by the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager.What will make you successful in this role:

B.S. degree or relevant technical discipline.4+ years Food Safety & Quality Assurance supervisory/lead experience in USDA/FDA regulated facilities.Supervisory skills: train, coach, mentor, and empower QA teams.Technical expertise in Food Safety & Quality Assurance program development, implementation, and improvement.Collaboration with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to enhance Food Safety & Quality Assurance programs.Knowledge of USDA/FDA regulations.Current HACCP/FDA FSMA HARPC and PCQI certifications.Experience with SQF, BRC, or GFSI-based food safety certifications.Familiarity with food claim certifications (Organic, Gluten Free, Kosher, Halal, Non-GMO).Food Safety & Quality Assurance Continuous Improvement (CI) tools experience (Kaizen, 5S, DMAIC, etc.).Strong problem-solving skills and tools (6-Step Process).Technical SOP writing and editing skills.Multi-project and priority management skills.Advanced PC skills (MS Office, ERP, Warehouse Management).Effective English communication skills.Willingness to travel (up to 10%) and work flexible hours.High integrity, strong work ethics, and independence.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and resourceful.Collaborative, hands-on leader with a can-do attitude.Fluent in Spanish (verbal/written).Why join us?
