Regional Manager

plays a pivotal role in developing and maintaining client relationships across various industries. This position involves connecting with key decision-makers, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions.Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement and SalesServe as the point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing information.Identify and educate prospective clients on IES products and services.Collaborate with internal teams to meet sales goals.PartnershipsEstablish and nurture relationships with clients, community colleges, economic developers, and regional leaders.Attend meetings, create presentations, and promote IES services.LeadershipManage one or more geographic regions in North Carolina effectively.Provide occasional assistance in recruiting IES staff.PromotionLearn and understand IES services to provide the best solutions for clients.Understand and articulate the benefits of IES services to clients.Promote the entire range of IES services through networking, presentations, and marketing materials.Economic ImpactSupport the evaluation process to measure the economic impact of IES services.Communicate the economic benefits of services to clients and stakeholders.AdministrationManage administrative tasks, including proposal development and data entry into Salesforce.Manage schedule to support multiple projects and enter information regarding client visits and other initiatives into Salesforce.Attend meetings, travel as required, and generate reports.Other Responsibilities

Provide front-line contact with clients in person or virtually.Support IES in reaching short-term and long-term goals.Follow established policies and seek advice when needed for decision-making.Exercise discretion and judgment in routine work.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

Require post-baccalaureate credentials or a bachelor’s degree plus alternative or equivalent professional training and experience may be substituted for the advanced degree on an exceptional basis.Other Required Qualifications:Must live in the geographical area (Bladen, Brunswick, Carteret, Columbus, Craven, Duplin, Jones, New Hanover, Onslow, Pender, and Robeson Counties).Own transportation for travel, as required.Ability to build strong client relationships to maintain existing business and acquire new customers.Desire to collaborate across the organization to serve the clients’ needs.Strong work ethic and willingness to travel.Proficient in PC/tablet use.Excellent verbal and written communication.Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in customer service, community relations, and marketing execution.Recent experience with Salesforce CRM and Google Products.Required License(s) or Certification(s):Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.Valid NC Driver's License required.Recruitment Dates and Special Instructions
