Our Corporate Communications team in

Falls Church, VA

is hiring a

Measurement & Insights Analyst

to support a team that develops and delivers integrated communications reporting.

Responsibilities:

Develop dashboards that evaluate the effectiveness of our communications efforts related to our reporting pillars and objectives.

Partner with workstream owners to create insights and recommendations for multiple stakeholders with a focus on insights that address enterprise priorities according to the delivery schedule.

Analyze integrated datasets and ensure dashboards and input datasets are regularly updated and validated.

Develop and perform ad-hoc analyses as needed.

Stay abreast of trends in digital measurement that can help the organization evolve to meet new challenges.

The ideal candidate is skilled at:

Having a background in earned media reporting and analytics, and experience using data to tell stories and influence decision making.

Fostering creative thinking around how we use data to solve unique business challenges in support of all Communications activities.

Using data to support communications work and develop actionable insights.

Managing efficient execution of projects, including the implementation of best practices.

Building a collaborative team environment, including participation in training efforts and fostering employee career growth.

Demonstrating objectivity as a key character attribute.

Developing optimizations based on data and insights, and following up to ensure they are put in place.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in analytics or strategy with a public relations agency, management consulting company, or earned media corporate function in a relevant industry OR Master's Degree and 8+ years of experience in analytics or strategy in a relevant industry.

Advanced knowledge and practical expertise in communication measurement and evaluation strategies, or project management.

Proficient at presenting data in a succinct and visually attractive manner through scorecards, dashboards, or infographics.

Experience scoping, building, and maintaining reporting dashboards (Looker Studio preferred) for internal and external use.

Knowledge of digital data technologies (DMPs, Google Analytics, digital tracking, keywords and taxonomies, tagging, media intelligence, data aggregation, etc.).

Promoting and democratizing the reporting and insights process to colleagues to ensure adoption.

Strong networking and communication skills combined with the ability to be seen as trustworthy.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with modern statistical learning methods (regression techniques, classification models, supervised and unsupervised learning, etc.).

Experience with translating business and executive objectives along with organizational strategies to communicate team effectiveness.

Master's Degree preferred.

Salary Range:

$109,900 - $164,900

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
