Foundation Executive Director
to work with a hospital in Dillon, MT.Onsite in Dillon, MTSUMMARYThis hospital is seeking a professional to perform activities as Executive Director of the Hospital’s Foundation. The organization seeks invitations for applications to fill this important philanthropic role with an incumbent who has experience managing fundraising and major gift programs. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Executive Director directs the management functions of the Foundation, including budget preparation, funds accounting distribution of funds as approved by the Foundation Board of Directors. The Executive Director ensures that operational procedures and policies of the Hospital Foundation are followed. The Executive Director is responsible for prospect identification, donor cultivation, proposal development, major gift solicitation, donor recognition, and coordination with the Hospital CEO, Board of Directors, and Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. The Executive Director positively represents and advocates for the Hospital and its initiatives within the Dillon community and Beaverhead County.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in development, institutional advancement, public relations, marketing, business or related field required, with a Master’s Degree preferred.At least 10 years of non-profit fundraising experience, including at least five years at a managerial level.Preference will be made for candidates who possess strong leadership skills, good judgment, and the ability to be successful in politically sensitive situations with a broad variety of community leaders, physicians, and volunteers.Tact, diplomacy, and strong relationship management skills are required attributes to diplomatically handle sensitive and confidential information.Please send your resume or questions in confidence to:
