The starting annual base salary range for this position is $76,000-$90,000.When extending an offer, Vassar College considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, budget, and other market and organizational considerations. Vassar College is a smoke-free, tobacco-free campus.Position Summary and ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Director of Organizational Development and Employment Equity will manage projects and initiatives to nurture a culture of inclusion and belonging with a specific focus on the employee experience. This individual will serve on a cross-functional leadership team focused on community engagement, manage employee resource groups, provide training and programming to promote equity and belonging, and analyze existing infrastructure to enhance equity.Responsibilities:Participate in the Engaged Pluralism Leadership Team, a cross-functional team focused on building communities that emphasize belonging.Design audit procedures of employment policies and processes to increase equity.Develop and deliver training to promote policy and procedure transparency and nurture a culture of inclusion and belonging.Manage Employee Resource Groups to facilitate building a robust and inclusive employment community.Collaborate with a broad group of campus partners to create resources to create access and transparency around policies and track their efficacy.Plan and participate in touchstone events and experiences for employees.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree and three years of experience working in human resources or related field or equivalent combination.Experience designing and delivering training, onboarding or programming.Experience evaluating policies and processes from an equity and belonging lens.A comfort with using technological tools to create data for analysis and interpretation.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a broad range of individuals internally and externally.PreferredExperience working in a higher education institution.Experience with designing human resources processes.Experience making on-demand training content.Special Instructions to ApplicantsTo complete your online application, you will be required to attach your resume, cover letter, and contact information for 3 professional references.
