UCR College Corps Assistant Director

The UCR College Corps (Program) is a partnership with California Volunteers; University of California, Riverside (UCR); the City of Riverside; and the Riverside Unified School District, funded via contributions from each partner. In coordination with the Program Director (Director), the Assistant Director (AD) is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing the Program. Responsibilities include:Annual recruitment, hiring, training, placement, and daily management of approximately 50 full-time college students serving as College Corps Fellows (Fellows).Building relationships and working with on- and off-campus partners, including local government agencies, elementary schools, non-profit organizations, and community groups to implement various aspects and activities of the Program.Collection of data and information, tracking of program services provided to participants for the annual performance report, intermittent reports, self-monitoring audits, and program evaluations.Assisting the Director in making decisions regarding allocations of funds for implementation of grant objectives.This position is grant funded, starting in July 2024 and expected to run through July 2026 with a possibility of extension based on continued availability of funding and program performance.

The salary range for the UCR College Corps Assistant Director is $51,600 - $69,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $54,250 annually. Salary offers are based on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
