Business Systems Analyst
to join our team in Austin, TX (hybrid work schedule).The business system analyst will be responsible for supporting applications in our patient care facilities. The position will support and maintain all operational applications with a focus on patient care applications. He/she also plays an important role in maintaining current systems and supporting implementations of new application projects. This role is responsible for supporting the transition of new applications or releases to operations, including testing and validating of applications as an important part of IT services. The business system analyst works closely together with the IT operations and infrastructure teams and will furthermore ensure that required knowledge is identified, supported, and trained for the ongoing day-by-day operational management of applications. Support existing systems in a fast-paced patient care environment.Duties & Responsibilities
Analyze and resolve production issues submitted by application users.Work with different business units in multiple locations to identify, develop/procure and execute solutions.Support rollout of new IT solutions in compliance with existing standards and guidelines.Assist with monitoring and maintaining project schedules and progress toward final solution and results.Work with the helpdesk to provide Level 1 support for applications where applicable.Work with IT team located in several locations.Assist with writing documentation and conducting various trainings for system users on applications, as needed.Be able to learn new applications, as needed.Be able to work independently and perform other duties as assigned.Work in accordance with IT security best practices and adhere to Ottobock network security policies.Up to 15% travel requirements.Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in a Business Systems Analyst role.2+ years’ experience providing production support.2+ years’ experience with ERP solutions, preferred.2+ years’ experience with SAP Business One, preferred.2+ years’ experience with project management, governance, and budgeting, preferred.Experience with Patient Management Systems or Hospital Systems, preferred.Experience with introducing and implementing standard business processes.Strong business process knowledge, analysis, and visualization.Ability to learn and support new systems and applications quickly.Ability to provide technical training to end users.Management of external providers.ITIL Foundations v3 certification preferred.Proven facilitation skills across multiple business disciplines, organization levels, and geographies.
