Hitachi Digital Services is seeking a highly skilled L3 Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure Support team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing and supporting IT infrastructure, including VMWare, Windows server administration, vulnerability management, and patching management. The candidate will also have experience with ServiceNow Management and automation scripting. Experience in network security and load balancer management is also required.The role
Provide advanced IT infrastructure support, ensuring high availability and reliability of systems.Administer and manage VMWare environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.Oversee Windows server administration, including system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.Manage vulnerabilities and patching, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure.Utilize ServiceNow for incident management, change management, and service request fulfillment.Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline IT operations and improve efficiency.Ensure network security, including managing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.Manage load balancers to ensure optimal distribution of network traffic.Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate ServiceNow and other tools into the IT infrastructure.Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement of IT infrastructure.What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure support, including VMWare, Windows server administration, vulnerabilities management, and patching management.Proficient in ServiceNow Management.Hands-on experience with automation scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python).Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.Experience with load balancer management.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience in ServiceNow integration is a plus.Must be a US Citizen.Must have a Public Trust clearance or be able to obtain one.Preferred Skills:
