Phibro’s revenues are in excess of $820 million, and are supported by over 1500 employees worldwide.The Director - Global Tax is an integral part of our Finance team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ site.The Director, Global Tax will work closely with the Company’s Vice President, Global Tax as well as senior leadership and third-party consultants on all phases of project and engagement management for corporate tax compliance and optimization. The primary responsibilities include working with the VP, Global Tax and the accounting department on the preparation, consolidation and ownership of the income tax provision for financial reporting purposes, oversight of the third-party tax outsourcing team with respect to the provision and US tax returns, addressing IRS and State/local Notices & Exams, development of tax and finance optimization strategy, as well as oversight of tax technology and implementation. The role would be responsible for transfer pricing documentation and evaluation, reviewing the tax flow and tax functioning of the Company’s operations, working with the VP, Global Tax and other departments to determine the tax implications of the existing legal entity structure and new legal entity requests, and assisting in the evaluation and implementation of technology to increase efficiency as well as a variety of other tasks.Key Responsibilities

Run the ASC 740 income tax provision and review of the federal, state and local filings which includes planning, executing, directing, and completing any tax projects.Work with non-US subsidiaries to analyze and reconcile all non-US tax accounts as part of the global consolidation process according to US GAAP.Supervise all domestic tax projects.Work with VP, Global Tax to coordinate global tax projects across the Company’s various professional service providers.Review tax estimates and tax returns prepared by a third-party provider for accuracy, and ensure all returns are filed on a timely basis.Key participant in acquisitions and major transactions and identify tax savings opportunities.Research and consult on various tax matters and work and coordinate with tax-consultants as necessary to research significant tax matters.Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.Ensure tax related processes and documentation are in compliance with the Company’s Sarbanes Oxley objectives.Skills

Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
