We offer $4,000 Sign on BonusNFI North, Finson Road Residential Care Facility located in Bangor, Maine is seeking an Awake Overnight Counselor. This is a full-time position with a schedule from 10:00pm - 7:30am, Wednesday thru Saturday. We are generally a long-term placement for geriatric participants with different life challenges. Our participants require support, encouragement and in some situations physical assistance to remain autonomous and as independent as possible.Qualifications
Education
Preferred
Bachelors or better in Human Services or related field.A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent experience is also acceptable. It is important for candidates to have the ability to recognize each of our participant’s uniqueness, with their own needs and desires. Candidates must be flexible, possess the ability to multi-task, and have a willingness to learn the clinical issues of individuals with mental illness, as well as the cognitive deficits and multiple medical conditions that accompany the individual during the aging process, more importantly how these work together.NFI North offers comprehensive and affordable Medical, Dental, Prescription, and Vision coverage.
