The Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting 1 full-time or part-time academic Pediatric Nephrologist. The UC Davis Children's Hospital provides a full complement of services throughout Northern California. The recruited candidate will join five Pediatric Nephrologists in providing care in an expanding clinical and academic program.We are recruiting at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level in the Clinical X Series, Health Science Clinical Series or the In-Residence Series. Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree, be board certified/eligible in Pediatric Nephrology and must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of California.Work distribution will depend on the specific skillset of the candidate. Proven excellence in clinical care and teaching is required; ideally the candidate will have leadership experience and an established research program and focus, although this is not an essential requirement.UC Davis Children's Hospital is Northern California's only full-service pediatric urology and nephrology care facility for children and young adults, offering the latest treatments for a range of congenital or acquired renal conditions, including renal transplantation and all forms of dialysis (in-patient and outpatient).Completed applications include CV, Cover Letter, Statement of Research, Statement of Contributions to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and contact information for 3-5 references.
