JOB DESCRIPTION:

1-800 Radiator & A/C (a Driven Brands company) is seeking an Area Business Developer, with experience and success developing large accounts in the over the road heavy duty commercial truck parts industry. This is a key position within a rapidly growing area of business. High performers in this role have an opportunity to quickly ascend into growth opportunities.

We are looking for highly skilled candidates, with professional sales experience, the ability to analyze and negotiate large deals, and existing relationships with key decision-makers, particularly in the LTL trucking and dealership segments of the business. This role will consist of 60% travel, with the majority being multi-day travel. This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Benicia, CA, less than one hour from 3 major airports and the Napa/Sonoma region of Northern California. Except for travel days, team members are expected to work from the office Tuesdays-Thursdays.

Must provide in-industry list of references.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Oversee, manage and coordinate all milestones throughout respective market prospects.

Coordinate all steps of product development including stocking model creation, inventory ordering and pricing updates, with internal stakeholders.

Develop and conduct trainings for both prospects and current field sales staff.

Utilize data to determine recommendation for business owners directly impacted by customer acquisition agreements.

Weekly reporting of sales progress relative to timetable and milestones.

Coordinate packaging new account agreements with marketing team, sales team, and supply chain team, legal/compliance.

Provide update via status meetings on project timelines, milestones with cross functional partners and leaders.

Work directly with Director level staff in project development.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of outside Heavy-Duty parts sales experience or 5+ years of inside Heavy-Duty parts sales experience.

Experience in project management / project coordinator role related to program development.

Strong existing customer relationships within the Dealership & LTL carrier space.

Experience in leading projects, especially new product launches.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Organized and methodical approach with proven ability to coordinate internal teams and leaders to push initiatives forward.

Skilled at parallel-pathing non-sequential tasks.

Comfortable pushing management and stakeholders for deliverables and approvals to meet deadlines.

Experience and comfort in multi-tasking and working in an extremely high-growth and fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

Ability to quickly learn & adapt to using various software suites, both proprietary and non-proprietary, on both PC and Apple iPad devices.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation Range: $121,600.00 - $240,500.00

Compensation Frequency: Annual

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
