As a Security Engineer at HeyGen, you will play a critical role in protecting our systems and data from threats. Your expertise will be essential in implementing and maintaining security measures, monitoring our infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will also focus on production security and compliance, ensuring our systems are robust and meet all necessary legal and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:
Secure Systems Development : Build secure systems, developing, deploying, and maintaining software solutions that enhance our security posture.Collaboration and Design : Collaborate within the Security team and with cross-functional partners to design and develop secure software solutions and infrastructure.Detective and Corrective Controls : Enhance our detective and corrective controls, ensuring robust threat mitigation.Identity Systems : Develop and manage identity and access management solutions.Developer and Research Tooling : Improve developer and research productivity while delivering robust functionality and controls.Infrastructure Security : Implement and maintain robust security measures for our infrastructure.Infrastructure Controls : Develop infrastructure controls, ensuring visibility and enforcement of secure practices.Implement Security Measures : Defend against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats.Risk Assessment : Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing.Production Security : Ensure the security of production systems, including secure deployment and maintenance of applications.Compliance : Work with compliance teams on industry standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2.Collaboration : Collaborate with IT and development teams for secure development and deployment.Monitoring : Monitor system logs and network traffic for suspicious activity.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.3+ years of experience in a security engineer role.Familiarity with tools and methodologies for code review, security testing, and vulnerability assessments.Familiarity with web technologies and network/web-related protocols.Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and technologies.Proven track record of developing high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.Proficient in scripting or programming languages like Python, Bash, or Golang.Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant professional certifications, such as CISSP, CEH.Experience with cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure, GCP).Knowledge of data protection regulations and frameworks.What HeyGen Offers
