Transportation PD&E Engineer Responsibilities:
Integral part of KCA’s PD&E team
Collaboration with engineers, planners, environmental scientists, and clients
Gather data, identify project constraints and challenges, and develop solution alternatives
Develop concept designs of typical sections, roadway geometry, intersections, and interchanges for planning and PD&E studies
Coordinate and assist in the preparation of engineering documents, studies, and public involvement material
Attend project-related public meetings including interaction with the public
Support marketing efforts for new pursuits
Must be a self-starter in need of minimal supervision
Occasional travel to other offices and project locations will be required
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience
Registered Florida PE
Bachelor’s Degree
Certification from American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) is a plus
Proficiency in MicroStation
Solid verbal and written communication skills
