Your Role on the Team

Responsible for the supervision of one or more Early Childhood Education site(s). Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Administers policies that directly affect subordinate employees. Recommends changes to Early Childhood Education policies and practices. May participate in strategic planning. Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives. Provides priority setting and work flow analysis for responsible sites.

Required:Solid working knowledge of early childhood education, as well as related policy and regulatory compliance requirements.Intermediate computer application skills.Solid inter-personal skills, service orientation, ability to multi-task effectively in a varied, challenging environment, judgment and decision-making, reasoning, ability to develop original ideas to resolve problems, and highly effective verbal and written communication skills.Must test TB negative and have health screening clearance.Passes FBI and DOJ criminal check with approval from Dept. of Social Services.Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.Has and maintains applicable Child Development Permit (Site Supervisor or higher). If working in infant or toddler room, must have at least 3 infant units.Has and maintains current child CPR and first aid certificates.Child Development Permit at Site Supervisor level or higher.CPR/First Aid.Advanced working knowledge of early education process and prior supervisory experience in an early childhood education setting.Advanced interpersonal skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, multi-tasking effectively in a challenging environment, organizational skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.

Special Conditions:Must be flexible working between 7:30 AM until 6:00 PM, with possible evening hours to conduct staff meetings.
