Immigration Attorney

A law firm located in Baltimore, MD, is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in immigration law, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, and high-growth practice. This role demands strong organizational and project management skills, as well as the capacity to handle multiple cases and supervise a team of paralegals while managing day-to-day client interactions.Duties:Handle a high caseload and manage day-to-day interactions with clients and potential clients.Coordinate case and legal strategy, ensuring timely and effective management of each case.Manage multiple cases, supervise paralegals, oversee projects, and meet deadlines.Train and mentor staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring high-quality performance.Prepare and revise court documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda.Conduct legal research and stay updated on legislative changes and judicial case law.Represent clients in court hearings and trials, demonstrating strong advocacy skills.Become an expert in various immigration matters, including Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJIS, U-Visas, and Waivers.Market the law firm’s services and engage in cross-selling other firm practices.Meet with potential new clients and handle client consultations.Work one Saturday per month, with potential for bonuses based on new client signings during those days.Requirements:Immigration experience (1+ years) is required.J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School is required.Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or Puerto Rico is required.Fluent in Spanish is required.Strong business acumen and a desire to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Ability to manage a large team of paralegals and meet deadlines efficiently.Proven ability to handle multiple cases and manage complex legal strategies.Experience in client relations and effective communication.Skills:Proficient in preparing and revising court documents.Skilled in legal research and writing motions, briefs, and memoranda.Strong advocacy and courtroom skills.Effective team management and training abilities.Excellent interpersonal skills and client-focused approach.Ability to market legal services and cross-sell firm practices.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing legal landscapes.Benefits Offered:Health InsuranceVision InsuranceRelocation reimbursement up to $10,000 (Forgiven after 6 months)VacationSick Time OffPerformance bonus opportunitiesPaid birthday and work anniversary401K PlanPaid ParkingLife InsuranceCompany infoBCG Attorney Search1629 K ST NW, Suite 300WashingtonDistrict of ColumbiaUnited States 20006Phone :
