Job Description - Postdoctoral Scholar - Ophthalmology (24000001OV)Position Overview
The postdoc scholar will participate in several research projects currently funded by the US Department of Veteran Affairs (to Dr. Nawajes Mandal). This individual will also have the responsibility of carrying out independent research related to these projects.Qualifications
PhD in Biological or Biomedical Sciences, or a closely related field.Minimum four-years’ experience in research that may include PhD thesis, at least three publications as the first or the senior author.Familiarity with biochemical, molecular, cell biological assays, data management and data analysis.Research with laboratory animals specifically mouse and rats.Strong communication and excellent writing skills.Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.About the University
