Lead the requirement gathering and design efforts for reporting and analytical solutions. The Analyst will participate in the full lifecycle of BI projects create functional designs and implement technical solutions.Develop and enhance data collection processesDocument data definitions and catalog metadata requirements for enterprise BI and analytical applicationsGathering end-user reporting and dashboard requirementsPartner with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes to data systemsDevelop system test plans and scriptsDevelop dashboards/reports to support business initiativesBuild strong business partnerships across the organization to enhance enterprise utilization of dataQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or any other engineering disciplineComprehensive understanding of best practices of Systems Analysis, Business Analysis, and Business IntelligenceProven track record of minimum 8 years experience in executing successful, large, complex data warehouse projects with retail environments, pulling data from multiple sourcesUnderstanding of Kimball dimensional data modeling methodology; ability to explain and interpret conceptual, logical and physical models for operational and analytical systemsFamiliarity of any of Cloud (Azure, AWS) based Data Integration and Orchestration solutionsKnowledge of: SQL, Multidimensional Modeling (Erwin or similar tool), BI toolsets (MicroStrategy, Power BI, Teradata)Understanding of T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, PowerShell, Dashboard ReportingFamiliarity of NO-SQL database and other data structures like JASON, Avro, etc.
