Join our diverse team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which includes Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security, providing Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.Role Overview:As part of a hardworking team of diverse Supply Chain Engineers, you will enable the application of critical hardware in the design of the New Glenn launch vehicle by bridging the gap between internal program engineering and Blue Origin's critical supplier partners. Your responsibilities will encompass working closely with suppliers to resolve technical issues, develop sustainable manufacturing processes, and mitigate technical risks to maintain schedules and ensure requirement conformance.Responsibilities:Team up with Integrated Product Team leadership to capture product concepts and requirements.Champion Fluid and Mechanical product development project management best practices.Collaborate with manufacturing and integration teams to develop product statements of work and specifications.Coordinate with supply chain management and contract manufacturers to negotiate, plan, and execute deliveries.Strengthen vendor relationships by communicating product development information and changes.Create and coordinate the demand signal for hardware purchases with supporting functions.Schedule regular status meetings with suppliers to monitor performance and resolve issues.Coordinate with internal product test teams and contract manufacturers for testing.Drive IPTs by managing scope changes and serving as the primary supplier contact.Manage suppliers for critical components ensuring rigorous technical and supply chain coordination.Minimum Qualifications:B.S. Degree or higher in electrical, mechanical, or materials engineering.2+ years of directly related experience.Experience with product development teams to define and prioritize design requirements.Experience in hardware development and manufacturing of complex electronic assemblies.Experience in technical management of suppliers.Experience in implementation of DFx principles in an outsourced manufacturing environment.Excellent Communication Skills.Experience with fault tree analysis and process flow mapping.Ability to learn and tackle new challenges in a fast-paced environment.Excellent attention to detail and task ownership.Ability to earn trust and maintain positive professional relationships.Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S.Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting design and manufacturing teams in an aerospace environment.Experience managing planning and technical aspects of product builds.Experience in concurrent design and manufacturing.Compensation:Compensation range for on-site CO applicants is $82,335-$115,269. For on-site WA and CA applicants, the range is $89,820-$125,748.
