Position Overview

The CPMI team is responsible for driving strategic and sustainable capital formation efforts via high-impact client engagement and innovative products & their adjacencies As a part of CPMI's Product Strategy vertical, the Individual will:Help uncover potential new product development opportunities, ways to expand Apollo's product footprint (e.g., broader distribution reach), or capital formation initiativesDevelop research-driven views and assist in communicating research findings and recommendations internally and potentially to any external partners, as relevantHelp refine the product roadmap and go-to-market plans in addition to managing various work streams to drive execution of product development & launchWork in coordination with other CPS professionals, other business strategy teams and enterprise solutions stakeholders to thoroughly vet potential new initiativesSupport broader strategic initiatives (which can span CPS, businesses, and the firm)Qualifications & Experience

3-6 years of prior experience, preferably within an asset management, wealth management or consulting firmDeep understanding of alternative asset management, capital markets, and how product distribution / fundraising worksExperience in business development, strategy, research, and synthesis of research findingsStrong ability to multi-task and pivot between research, analysis and written communication of findingsSelf-starter with strong ability to think independently, strategically, and outside-the-box to generate new potential organic growth opportunitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, which will support the individual's ability to engage in substantive strategic discussionsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written) used to clearly present complex business ideasProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, & EDGAR / international financial filings

Pay Range$120,000 - $160,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
