Summary:

The Senior Brand Manager is a thought leader who sets the strategies and develops/executes the tactical marketing plans for the brand(s) to achieve budgeted objectives. These strategies include pricing, new product development, communication, promotion, and social/digital. The Senior Brand Manager leads cross-functional teams and third-party agencies to ensure the marketing plans are executed with excellence. He/she has a strong understanding of the P&L and budget management to achieve profitability targets. The position demands strong analytical skills and creative thinking to identify market insights and turn them into leverageable business opportunities. In addition to core brand responsibilities, the Senior Brand Manager is expected to be an influential leader across the organization.

What can you expect as a Senior Brand Manager at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?Leads all activities relating to Premium Cigar brand management including pricing, promotion, product, packaging, advertising, digital, and product innovation.Sets the short-term and long-term strategies for the brand(s) and develops/executes the annual tactical marketing plan to attain volume and profit commitments.Effectively leads cross-functional team meetings to deliver the tactical activities of the marketing plans and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Mines for consumer and competitive insights, translating those insights into leverageable growth opportunities.Continually drives to strengthen product portfolio through line extensions, innovation platforms, and customer product development.Leads 3rd party agencies to ensure messaging and activities are delivered against brand strategies and brand integrity/voice is maintained.Drives to improve profitability through pricing, margin/mix, sku rationalization, and cost reduction activities.Analyzes P&L and identifies issues; recommends and implements necessary action plans to achieve brand objectives.Plans and manages the annual marketing spending budget to ensure the brand activities are delivered according to the tactical plan and that profitability targets are achieved.Maintains a strong understanding of consumer, customer, and competitive trends within the Premium Cigar industry.Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or other related discipline; MBA strongly preferredMinimum 8+ years of relevant experience in consumer marketing & brand buildingDemonstrated ability to lead organizations and develop high-performance teamsExperience in developing and executing strategic plansProven experience working collaboratively with Sales & Operations teams to drive resultsExperience leading and working cross-functionally in matrix organizationsExcellent oral and written communication/presentation skillsStrong financial acumen, prior P&L responsibilityCreative thinkingWe value our employees and in addition to our competitive salaries, we offer a competitive benefit package to our talented team members including:
