The Procurement Manager reports directly to the Executive Chef.General Description:

The Procurement Manager oversees the procurement functions for all locations onsite, including the organization and inventory management of all products and maintaining pars throughout the location. The role also supports all work-orders and maintenance of all equipment.Responsibilities:Orders and manages necessary supplies, ensuring team members have supplies, equipment, tools, and uniforms necessary to do their jobs.Monitors the inflow of ordered products (food and non-food) and ensures that all items make it to their proper location through effective partnership and communication with the management team.Ensures that FIFO standards are maintained and trains the team to follow these guidelines when stocking all areas.Conducts supply inventories on food and non-food items, and orders according to the needs of the business and current par expectations.Manages all equipment and work order requests, ensuring compliance with city guidelines.Participates in the management of controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.Manages EOM inventory counts and inputs data into the system, ensuring checks and balances occur, coordinating with the Executive Chef when necessary.Supervises and manages the Warehouse team.Works in close partnership with the Executive Chef, Catering Operations Manager, and Food Service Operations Manager to ensure all products are ordered as needed for upcoming events and expected business.Attends meetings and communicates with the Executive Chef and General Manager, peers, and team members to improve service quality.Provides guidance and direction to team members, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.Recruits and interviews positions within the department.Develops SOPs (standard operating procedures) to utilize as training tools for all team members working in and utilizing the warehouse.Ensures coaching and disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed in accordance with policy and procedures.Ensures successful onboarding and training of the Warehouse Manager.Has daily touch bases with the warehouse to outline expectations for the day/week.Job Requirements:Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to articulate to the team, Executive Chef, General Manager, and HQ personnel as necessary.Proven leadership skills with an understanding of team building/development and fostering partnerships.Exceptional problem-solving/decision-making skills combined with the ability to be organized.Demonstrates organizational and planning skills.Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.Computer and/or inventory system knowledge.Knowledge of maintaining pars and FIFO, with the ability to forecast par levels with product needs and staffing to facilitate distribution.Previous experience with maintenance partnerships, comfortable navigating ongoing maintenance schedules.Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (35lbs – 50lbs or more) as necessary to operations.Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.Driving a company vehicle and/or golf cart within the scope of employment requires a valid driver’s license and is subject to a DMV check.Previous Experience:Three to five years minimum in food warehouse supervisor experience preferred.Background in receiving, storing, inventory, and distribution of food & beverage in hotel, entertainment, or cultural attraction venue a plus.ServSafe or Food Certification a plus.All education backgrounds eligible; must be 18 years or older.This is by no means an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts, or working conditions associated with this job description.
