The individual will support advanced remote sensing exploitation functions through detailed technical data analysis and through the development and improvement of processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) of remotely sensed data, including the evaluation of data from new sensors. All team members are expected to be able to work independently and collaboratively with other scientists, engineers, and analysts on complex exploitation issues.Job DutiesUtilize advanced GEOINT tools to analyze and exploit remotely sensed data to produce and disseminate non-literal passive GEOINT productsProvide technical leadership to teams performing exploitation and process developmentAnalyze and develop processes to support the exploitation of unique, anomalous, and difficult datasets utilizing engineering principles and a physics-based analytical approachPerform algorithm development for complex data exploitation processesRequired Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in STEM field (Physics, Engineering, Remote Sensing, Mathematics, Geology, or a related scientific field)Experience in processing and analyzing remote sensing data from passive sensors, especially thermal and/or spectral dataActive Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibilityCurrent CI Polygraph or willingness to sign a Consent for PolygraphAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentStrong technical writing and briefing skillsDesired Skills and Qualifications:Experience with ENVI, ArcGIS, and/or similar software toolsAbility to code/script, such as in Python, MATLAB, R, and/or IDLWillingness to sign Consent to Counterintelligence Polygraph
