Position Overview: We're seeking a proactive and hardworking Growth Marketing Manager to develop new strategies for customer acquisition while aggressively experimenting on and scaling existing paid media channels. This role will be crucial in overseeing channel strategy, implementation, and performance. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer who can set big-picture goals and roll up their sleeves to support the current team's and agency's underlying capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Paid Social:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of acquisition channels in collaboration with growth agencies
  • Oversee agency partners across paid channels (e.g., social, Google ecosystem, affiliate, podcast)
  • Maintain and build testing roadmaps with key partners
  • Drive campaign and channel performance to achieve specific business goals
  • Identify optimizations and communicate actionable next steps to stakeholders

Reporting:
  • Provide daily and monthly data reporting on marketing performance
  • Manage marketing budgets and forecasting in coordination with the Director of Marketing
  • Track daily Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and profitability targets

Ad Creative:
  • Develop creative strategies and assist in content creation for all advertising channels
  • Manage innovative creative briefs that produce impactful, goal-oriented ads
  • Collaborate with the graphic design team to design and traffic marketing assets
  • Establish a regular cadence for creative updates across all acquisition channels

Internal & External Communication:
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and partners
  • Develop and evolve internal processes to improve communication efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to assist in a cohesive marketing effort across channels

Project Management:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation plans
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication to drive projects forward
  • Implement and optimize project management tools and processes to increase efficiency
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership on project progress

General Marketing:
  • Contribute to the overall marketing strategy of Oak Essentials, aligning growth efforts with brand goals
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior in the beauty and wellness space
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all channels
  • Assist in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that span multiple channels
  • Support product launches and promotional initiatives with targeted growth strategies
  • Analyze market research and consumer insights to inform marketing decisions
  • Contribute to the development of the brand's voice and positioning in the marketplace
  • Assist in creating and maintaining marketing collateral, including product descriptions, brand stories, and promotional materials

Research:
  • Conduct research on new ad types, content optimization, and industry trends
  • Provide insights on marketing performance and industry developments

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of agency or in-house experience managing paid channels with a minimum 1 year of experience directly managing and executing (hands-on keyboard) campaigns
    • Paid Social: Facebook/Instagram and TikTok hands-on experience is a must
    • Experience with Google, Affiliate, Podcast/Audio, Creator/Influencer channels (preferred)
  • Proven track record in achieving KPIs and ROI in paid social campaigns
  • Experience in the DTC beauty space and/or beauty retail rollout (preferred)
  • Experience with Shopify, Google Analytics, Facebook, Google, and TikTok Ads Manager
  • Proficiency in data analysis and analytics tools
  • In-depth knowledge of social media advertising platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • Experience in developing and implementing testing roadmaps
  • Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Photoshop and/or video editing experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Monday, etc.)
