The VP, Strategic Finance leads the corporate level capital planning initiatives and execution to achieve the objectives set out by the executive team and Board of Directors. This role will be responsible for building a broad set of business capabilities and take an active leadership role in executing several key capital planning objectives.
Distributed Solar Development, LLC (DSD) develops distributed solar and solar plus storage projects with municipalities, Fortune 500 companies, and utilities. The VP, Strategic Finance will report to the Chief Financial Officer and work cross-functionally with key leaders across the company and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage corporate capital planning with CFO for future equity and debt needs. Present strategic plans to executive team and Board of Directors.
- Support corporate capital raises, working closely with internal DSD leadership and third-party advisors.
- Build out comprehensive analysis to support go-forward capital structure.
- Manage the corporate Net Asset Value (NAV) model for the total company and equity investors.
- Support the creation of materials for Board meetings and investor reporting.
- Work across business teams to identify
- Support the executive team and Board of Directors with ad-hoc projects and investment scenarios.
Basic Qualifications:
- Transaction experience in US infrastructure
- Knowledge and experience with various renewable financing structures
- Demonstrated experience closing transactions
- In-depth modeling knowledge
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with the company's executive team and Board of Directors
- Excellent interpersonal skills and commercial acumen
- Motivated self-starter with excellent work ethic
- Experience in corporate M&A and investment banking strongly preferred
