PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

This role focuses on providing outstanding customer service for Electronic Data Interface (EDI) by offering first-level support via phone, email, and chat. The professional will address EDI-related inquiries and issues using multiple services and platforms, catering to internal clients, service providers, and other industry-related companies.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Provides technical support for customer and rail operations EDI (Electronic Data Interface) transaction setsAssist with managing EDI related small enhancements or projects that require a LOEEnsure accurate EDI contactsAssist with data loads for UAT and performance testingProvides exceptional customer serviceEnsures proper documentation of incidents, emails, requests, and follows established ticketing processesComprehensive understanding of X12 and EDI Standards for railImplements proactive problem resolution measures for internal and external customersAbility to manage multiple tasks at times of adversityAbility to work cross functionally with internal stake holders to drive change aligned with the organization's initiativesManage customer accounts from Canada, US and MexicoEscalates and provides critical incident support as neededFollows up with customers, provides timely updates and sees problems through to the endParticipate rotational 24*7 On call supportPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or enrolled in an accredited program with less than one year until graduation, or equivalent combination of education and experience1-2 years of experience in EDI (Electronic Data Interface)2 + years of phone based customer service or call center experience is preferredExperience communicating technical information to non-technical audience, one 1 year preferredBasic foundation knowledge of the rail or transportation industry 2 years is preferredStrong communication skills in both English is required and Spanish is preferredWHAT CPKC HAS TO OFFER:
