Under the general supervision of the Director of Laboratory or designee, provides clinical laboratory services and monitors point of care (POC) testing accuracy of patients in accordance with accepted practices and Departmental and Hospital standards of care. Qualifications must also satisfy the requirements of federal and state law and regulation.
Position requirementsAssociate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology.
Registered as a MLT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred.Previous experience in hospital clinical laboratory preferred.
