Job Description
The Physician Recruiter is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment of physicians and medical staff within a hospital setting. This includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding-qualified candidates to meet the hospital's staffing needs. The recruiter collaborates with various departments to understand their hiring requirements and develops strategies to attract top talent that fits with El Paso Children's culture, mission and vision. The role also involves maintaining relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive recruitment experience, and adhering to all relevant compliance and accreditation standards.
Required Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Coordinate candidate visits with Director Community Engagement and HR to understand staffing requirements and adhere to recruitment plans.Source and attract potential physician candidates through various channels, including job boards, networking, referrals, and direct recruitment efforts.Screen and assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit within the organization.Coordinate each step of the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.Build and maintain a network of potential candidates and healthcare professionals.Organize and attend recruitment events, career fairs, and conferences to promote the organization and its opportunities.Create and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.Coordinate interviews and follow-up activities, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.Provide regular reports on recruitment activities, including candidate pipelines, recruitment metrics, and status updates.Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and legal requirements.
Required Experience
Education and Training
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Experience:
Experience in physician recruitment, preferably in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting, a plus.Experience and proficiency in recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, and other recruitment related tools.
