Clinical Supervisor -Substance Use Disorder

Gateway Rehab has an opportunity for a Clinical Coordinator with our Department of Corrections facility in Erie, PA. Our Coordinator serves as a Clinical Supervisor who has responsibility for supervising all clinical programming and assists the Program Director with the overall operation of the facility. This position directly supervises the clinical staff and indirectly the custody control staff.
Responsibilities
Supervises the work of all Clinical Staff in the inpatient drug & alcohol and Parole Violators programs and ensures programming is delivered as scheduled.Provides for the proper supervision of the clinical staff, including regular individual and group supervision, case consultations, and treatment plan updates.Monitors MCO and other authorizations daily to ensure continued stay authorizations are obtained in a timely manner.Establishes solid working relationships with the Department of Corrections and all other stakeholders in the program.Reviews DOC referrals and coordinates all other referrals for admission to the program.Coordinates resident returns to the custody of Parole/Probation and the Department of Corrections.Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the DOC as needed.Provides training and staff development for clinical staff in coordination and consultation with the Program Director.Assists in the review and update of the Administrative & Operations Manual and Resident Handbook.Serves as a member of the program's management team.Maintains a working knowledge of contractual, licensing, and accreditation standards including PA Department of Corrections, Department of Drug and Alcohol Programming, and American Correctional Association.Assists in preparation for licensing and accreditation visits.Responds to patient grievances and issues discipline as appropriate.Conducts monthly chart audits for all programs.Completes staff performance evaluations and annual training plans in a timely manner for supervisees.Intervenes and documents appropriately when an employee demonstrates poor work performance.Coordinates and communicates with other Gateway programs and departments.Provides direct care as needed, including individual and group sessions.Assists Program Director as directed.Attends mandatory GRC trainings and in-services.Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Computer literacy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills.Requirements
Masters degree in a qualifying counseling discipline.Minimum 3 years professional work experience in a human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol or corrections setting.Minimum 1 year supervisory experience.Other Requirements
Must pass Pennsylvania Department of Corrections clean check.Pass Drug ScreenWork Conditions
