This role offers a hybrid work option, meaning you can both work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together.This role will be based in San Francisco or Sunnyvale.LinkedIn’s Business Operations team is looking for a strategic thinker and motivated operator who is passionate about building technology platforms that enable LinkedIn to serve the needs of its users, and customers globally. This person will support the Product Business Operations team that partners with Horizontal GTM Tech, LinkedIn Business Platform Product, Engineering, and Business teams to define and execute the technology roadmap, including estimation and performance measurement of impact. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, strategic, communicative, empathetic, and analytical. The ideal candidate has experience and an interest in customer experience and technology platforms, and is energized by asking how we can improve the lives of our stakeholders — LinkedIn’s members, customers, and employees.ResponsibilitiesPartner with R&D team focused in core area of technology for GTM and leverage data & insights to drive informed decision making, stakeholder value and engagementDefine goals and key performance metrics for LinkedIn Business PlatformProvide partnership and expertise in researching, collating, and developing product strategy for defined area of LinkedIn Business PlatformWork closely with immediate team and cross-functional partners to align visions and priorities, including both customer-facing and operational componentsServe as the connective tissue of the cross-functional team, working to share knowledge, frame/ synthesize opportunities and drive people towards a common goalProactively flag risks or bottlenecks, and recommend course-corrections as appropriateQualificationsBasic Qualifications4+ years of work experience in technology, strategy consulting, investment banking, or a strategy-related roleBachelor's degree in science, mathematics, engineering or degree that develops critical thinking skills or any quantitative major.Preferred QualificationsProactiveness: Independently capable of seeking information in an unstructured environment, solving conceptual problems, socializing hypotheses, and proposing courses of actionInitiative and ownership: Ability to act with limited oversight on day-to-day basis, balancing multiple prioritiesProblem-solving: Comfortable with data and ambiguity, and able to both delve into the details and engage meaningfully on higher level strategyPerformance management: Skilled at understanding data metrics and performance, including diagnosing the reason for metric movement and business implicationsAnalytical abilities: Experience solving real-world business problems, ideally building/using advanced Excel models, SQLCommunications: Excellent communication skills to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendationsTeam-first attitude: Motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business and how LinkedIn operatesGrowth mindset: Willingness to learn, partner, and provide guidance in areas that are not fully defined; open to feedback and learning opportunitiesRelationship building: Ability to build trust quickly, high degree of empathy and expertise at managing senior, cross-functional relationshipsExecutive presence: Experience working closely with business leaders to solve challenging business problems; credibly present and debate recommendations with business partnersContent-specific: Experience with R&D teams, Go-To-Market Operations, Commerce platforms, and/or Saas industryMBA degreeAdditional InformationLinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $100,000 to $156,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
